My Rating Scale

First of all let me tell you that I don’t do ratings because I feel that an author puts in a lot of work in a book and it’s a little unfair to judge in a few stars. I prefer to give recommendations. But I also understand that some people are comfortable with star rating so I’m gonna explain them in terms of stars as well.

Must Read

This is like a 5 star book. It is a book that I totally enjoyed and loved and I will recommend it to everyone without asking their favorite genres or the like. So it’s basically an immensely enjoyable book without any conditions apply.

Should Read

It’s more like a 4 star book. It is like a Must Read but with conditions apply. The conditions can be like the book is not for a beginner or that it is genre specific or it might have some points that made the book miss that mark. I always mention it in my review so don’t worry about that.

Can Read

It’s a 3 star book. This book didn’t bore me but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would’ve expected. I will recommend it as a passing read, when you don’t have anything to lay your hands on or you just want to pass time.

Don’t Read

This one is a 2 star book. I hated it and so, as the name suggests, I don’t recommend to read it. This is a book I couldn’t wait to finish because, well, I didn’t like it.

Don’t even think about it

Yup, it’s a 1 star book, completely trash. This is a book that bored me to tears. Reading it was like a punishment to me and I was on the verge of leaving the book in between.
